American Society of Cinematographers, Masterclass in Kuala Lumpur

2017, Sep-The Malaysian Society of Cinematographers in collaboration with A.S.C, held a Masterclass for its members. Led by Dean Cundey who had shot for Steven Spielberg, notable works include Jurassic Park ,Apollo 13, Hook & etc. Followed by Dutch Cinematographer Theo Van De Sande, notable works Grown Ups, Cruel Intentions & etc. Not forgetting IMAX specialist James Neihouse known for his 70mm format documentaries.

Kurosawa Centennial Retrospective

The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur and the Faculty of Film Television, in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa proudly presents a showcase of 24 of his films at ASWARA's Dewan Kuliah Utama.

Launch of ASWARA Broadcast Centre

2020, 10 Aug- The faculty of film and television had launched the broadcast centre today, which was graced by Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato Nancy Shukri.

The centre boasts a '4k ready' capabilities, that include 4k cameras systems, full scale lighting console, 4k playback recorder, CG unit for inline graphics, real time playback switcher, camera control unit, teleprompters and PPA system.
